From September 12-14, advocates from across the nation came together in Washington, DC, for the 2023 Debt Free Justice National Convening. The event was designed to elevate the voices and narratives of youth and family advocates who have navigated the legal system. Participants from diverse backgrounds exchanged insights, experiences, and tools to make a tangible impact in their communities.

Panel Discussion

Youth advocates and journalists participated in a panel discussion exploring responsible and compassionate reporting of stories involving individuals and families directly impacted by the legal system, especially minors and People of Color.
