How can we center Black liberation in how we address fees and fines for Black families?

A panel for Black History Month covers the economic needs of Black youth and families. Panelists discuss Black Liberation as it relates to economic justice for Black youth and how we can move young people away from an extractive economy. How can governmental and state agencies help develop systems of care that uplift Black families? This panel discussion will be a space to intentionally use our radical imagination to explore how to create and advocate for policies that include the financial well-being of Black families and lead us closer to a regenerative economy.
