Debt-Free Justice for Children Act

This bill would have abolished all fees in the juvenile and criminal justice systems for young people under the age of 18 as well as for individuals eligible for continuing care in the child welfare system up to age 21, made unpaid fees unenforceable and uncollectable, and required reinstatement of drivers licenses that have been suspended for failure to pay.
